Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask McDowell). They never let the Asheville Cougars get on the board and left with a 17-0 victory on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Titans considering their two-run performance the contest before.

McDowell is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. Asheville dropped their record down to 0-13 with the loss, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, McDowell will challenge Erwin at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Asheville, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Asheville Cougars face off against Hendersonville Bearcats at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
