Baseball Recap: Northtown Pumas vs. Ida Crown Jewish Academy Aces

Northtown extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 18 on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 0-11 in the process. They lost 19-2 to the Ida Crown Jewish Academy Aces. If the Pumas were looking for revenge after losing 10-0 to the Aces when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Ida Crown Jewish Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-6. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

For Ida Crown Jewish Academy's part, Eli Comrov looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Noah Lehrfield was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024. Jordan Rich was another key player, going 1-for-2 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Looking ahead, Northtown will square off against Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Ida Crown Jewish Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
