Baseball Recap: Mooreville Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Mooreville's offense. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Webster Wolverines on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Troopers in their meetings with the Wolverines: they've now lost four in a row.

Mooreville's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 15-7. As for East Webster, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season.

While Mooreville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
