Baseball Recap: Montverde Academy Takes a Loss

The Montverde Academy Eagles came up short against the Winter Springs Bears on Monday and fell 7-2. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Montverde Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Max Irving, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Montverde Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Winter Springs, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season.

Montverde Academy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 13-2 loss against The First Academy on the 3rd. As for Winter Springs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-4 win against Lake Howell on the 1st.
