Baseball Recap: Ponderosa Takes a Loss

Ponderosa fell victim to Rio Americano and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 1-0. The Bruins just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Ponderosa's record is now 6-9. As for Rio Americano, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season.

While Ponderosa had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
