Volleyball Recap: Crane Mustangs vs. Glendale Pirates
Crane had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Glendale on Saturday. The Mustangs blew past the Pirates 3-0.
Kaitlyn Siegner paced Crane's offense, picking up ten kills. Siegner got some help from Kendal Nichols and her 26 assists. Nichols was also solid from the service line: she led the team with ten aces.
The victory got Crane back to even at 2-2. As for Glendale, their loss dropped their record down to 3-3.
Coincidentally, Crane and Glendale will both be playing Liberty Charter the next time they take the court. The Mustangs will head out to face the Patriots at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Pirates will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
