Basketball Recap: Swan Valley Comes Up Short

If Swan Valley was feeling good fresh off their 58-35 takedown of Ithaca last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Swan Valley Vikings fell just short of the Glenn Bobcats by a score of 40-37 on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now lost three in a row.

Swan Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Glenn, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Swan Valley will venture away from home to face off against Hemlock at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hemlock is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.2 points per game this season. Glenn will take on Holly in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Glenn is facing Holly at the right time seeing as Holly is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
