Charter Oak took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 9-7 victory over La Serna.

Charter Oak got a great performance from Brian Aceves as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only a hit over 4.1 innings pitched. The dominant performance gave Aceves a new career-low in hits.
