Baldwin had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 12-11 W against the Osage City Indians. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-3 on Monday.

Baldwin's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for Osage City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Baldwin will venture away from home to challenge Ottawa at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last four games the Cyclones have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Osage City, they will head out to face off against Wabaunsee at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
