After a string of ten wins, Sandhills/Thedford's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Centura Centurions. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Centurions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

Laney Dahlberg paced Sandhills/Thedford's offense, picking up eight kills. Dahlberg got some help from Emma Ray and her seven assists.

Sandhills/Thedford's loss dropped their record down to 20-4. As for Centura, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-6.

Coming up, Sandhills/Thedford will face off against Anselmo-Merna on the 21st. As for Centura, after both having extra time off, they and Gibbon will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on the 20th.
