Football Recap: Riverside Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Bishop Eustace Prep last Friday, Riverside came back down to earth. The Rams had to suffer through a 47-8 loss at the hands of the Bordentown Scotties. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Scotties apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Dean Potts threw for 99 yards on six of 16 attempts.

Thomas Lee was nothing short of spectacular for Bordentown: he rushed for 146 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries, and also threw for 87 yards and a pair of TDs. Jose Santiago was another key player, gaining 98 total yards.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Bordentown, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Riverside is set to take on their familiar foe Pemberton at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Bordentown will square off against rival Florence Township Memorial at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
