Volleyball Recap: Prentice Now 4-1 over Last Five Games

Prentice won the last time they faced Rhinelander and things went their way on Saturday too. The Buccaneers came out on top against the Hodags by a score of 2-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17.

Leah Lord paced Prentice's offense, picking up 12 kills. Lord got some help from Sophie Staroba and her 22 assists.

Despite the loss, Rhinelander still got an impressive performance from Kayla Skubal, who had 14 digs. Skubal has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last five times she's played.

Prentice is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season. As for Rhinelander, they dropped their record down to 2-26 with the loss, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Prentice didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Abbotsford on the 30th. As for Rhinelander, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Northland Pines on the 30th.
