Volleyball Recap: Saul Takes a Loss

If Saul was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Parkway Center City last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Razorbacks took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Olney Trojans on Monday. While the Razorbacks didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Trojans 25-18 in the first set.

Saul started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 18-25, 25-22, 25-20, 25-14.

Saul dropped their record down to 3-5 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Olney, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Saul will challenge rival Mastery Charter South co-op [Mastery Charter Lenfest/Mastery Charter Thomas] at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Olney is set to take on their familiar foe Kensington at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
