Basketball Recap: Kaylee Jones' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Ahoskie Christian over Suffolk Christian Academy

Ahoskie Christian lost against Suffolk Christian Academy back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Ahoskie Christian took a hard 45-29 fall against the Suffolk Christian Academy Knights.

Several Ahoskie Christian players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kaylee Jones, who posted ten points and four steals. Jones is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as she's now posted two or more in the last four games she's played. Kinsley Dunlow was another key player, putting up seven points.

Ahoskie Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Suffolk Christian Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-5.

Ahoskie Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 33-32 loss against Bethel Assembly Christian Academy on the 14th. As for Suffolk Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 43-35 defeat against Mount Calvary Christian Academy on the 14th.
