Basketball Recap: Wiscasset Comes Up Short

Wiscasset was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 25th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 30-17 to the Telstar Rebels. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 30-17 on December 5th.

Wiscasset's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Telstar, they moved to 2-5 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Wiscasset will finish 2024 at home by hosting Buckfield at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. Buckfield will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Wiscasset surely won't give up without a fight. As for Telstar, they will square off against Pine Tree Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
