Basketball Recap: Druid Hills Comes Up Short

Druid Hills lost against Northview back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Red Devils were beaten by the Titans 80-14. The Red Devils were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-3.

Northview got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Tamariana Bivins out in front who almost dropped a double-double with 13 points and nine steals. Those nine steals gave Bivins a new career-high. Sana Amara was another key player, putting up 13 points and seven steals.

Druid Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Northview, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Druid Hills will challenge rival Southwest DeKalb at 6:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Northview is set to square off against their familiar foe North Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
