Softball Recap: Martin County Comes Up Short

First Flight hit Martin County with a five-run fifth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Gators fell 11-6 to the Nighthawks. The Gators were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Nighthawks earlier this season, when they won 11-3.

Martin County has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-5 record this season. As for First Flight, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-5.
