Recap: Halls Tigers vs. Middleton Tigers
The Halls Tigers lost against the Middleton Tigers on January 9th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Halls was outmatched by the Tigers on the road and fell 45-9. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Halls in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost four in a row.
Middleton found their leader in underclassman Laila Buggs, who scored eight points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Ty'angela Geanes, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds.
Halls' loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Middleton, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Clarksburg the next time they take the court. Middleton will host Clarksburg at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Halls will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
