Softball Recap: St. Francis Takes a Loss

St. Francis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 5-1 to the Whitney Wildcats.

St. Francis saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kylee Garrett, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

St. Francis' defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Whitney, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Coming up, St. Francis will challenge Del Oro at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. St. Francis' pitchers better be ready for this one: Del Oro has averaged an impressive 8.3 runs per game this season. As for Whitney, they will face off against Folsom at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
