Dexter won the last time they faced Bosque and things went their way on Saturday too. The Demons came out on top against the Bobcats by a score of 17-13. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Demons.

The team relied heavily on Josh Gonzalez, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Bryce Link also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Dexter's victory bumped their record up to 6-14. As for Bosque, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Dexter will take on Ruidoso at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Demons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season. As for Bosque, they will face off against Highland at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Hornets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.9 runs per game on average), something the Bobcats will no doubt try to take advantage of.
