Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Addison Hendrixson and Jayde Pryor Lead Tri-Township to Victory

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Tri-Township on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 31-16 victory over the South Central Satellites. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Leading Tri-Township to victory were Jayde Pryor and Addison Hendrixson. Pryor posted eight points in addition to ten boards and seven steals, while Hendrixson almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. What's more, Hendrixson also racked up four steals, the most she's had since back in November of 2024.

Tri-Township smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Central only pulled down five offensive boards.

Despite the loss, South Central still got an impressive performance from Lexi Johnson, who had six points.

Tri-Township's record is now 12-10. As for South Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-14 record this season.

Both are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Tri-Township will face off against Morgan Township at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Tri-Township is facing Morgan Township at the right time seeing as Morgan Township is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for South Central, they will square off against North Judson-San Pierre at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. North Judson-San Pierre will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something South Central surely won't give up without a fight.
