Volleyball Recap: Elkton/Lake Benton Takes a Loss

After flying high against Oldham-Ramona/R on Thursday, Elkton/Lake Benton came back down to earth. The Elks came up short against the Hamlin Chargers on Monday, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Elks of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 25-14, 25-11.

Elkton/Lake Benton's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Hamlin, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Elkton/Lake Benton will square off against Colman-Egan at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hamlin, they will face off against Milbank at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
