Cresset Christian Academy came tearing into Saturday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Wakefield Wolverines by a score of 59-47.

Cresset Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Trinity Jefferson out in front who posted 29 points. Another player making a difference was Lamyiah Jarrett, who put up 18 points.

Despite the loss, Wakefield still got an impressive performance from Aly Schaffer, who had 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lyla Bagwell, who earned ten points and five rebounds.

Cresset Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Wakefield, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Cresset Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 86-9 victory against Crossroads Christian on the 9th. As for Wakefield, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 76-47 win against Leesville Road on the 10th.
