Forge Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Lyons with a sharp 12-1 win on Tuesday. That's two games straight that the Fury have won by exactly 11 runs.

Brock Wycoff made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in May of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one RBI.
In other batting news, Ben McLean was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one triple, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024. Jonah Boykin was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI.
Forge Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .586. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lyons only posted an OBP of .250.
Meanwhile, Dayspring Christian Academy came tearing into Friday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Falcons. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their two-run performance the contest before.
Logan Vaniddekinge was a standout: he scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. That stolen base marked the first that he snagged this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Josiah Rodriguez, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.
Dayspring Christian Academy's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Forge Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.
Saturday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Forge Christian has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .466. However, it's not like Dayspring Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .468.
