Collins Hill has gone 9-1 against North Gwinnett recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Collins Hill Eagles will square off against the North Gwinnett Bulldogs at 12:30 p.m. Collins Hill is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

Last Saturday, Collins Hill was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 49-45 to Kell. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 216th, while the Longhorns are ranked 41st).

Despite the loss, Collins Hill got top-tier performance from Kaleigh Heywood, who went 8 for 18 on her way to 21 points in addition to eight boards and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Imari Brewer, who posted 11 points.

Meanwhile, North Gwinnett was just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 41-40 to South Forsyth. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the War Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Collins Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for North Gwinnett, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.

Collins Hill didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against North Gwinnett in their previous meeting back in November of 2023, but they still walked away with a 60-55 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Collins Hill since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
