Soccer Recap: Butler Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Butler lost against Providence back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bulldogs lost 6-0 to the Panthers. One reason for the loss might be Butler's aggressive play style: Jonathan Guitierrez and Ethan Ramos were both handed yellow cards.

Butler's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-1. As for Providence, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Butler will head out to face off against Palisades at 7:00 p.m. on September 4. As for Providence, they will take on Charlotte Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
