Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Desert Hot Springs). They put the hurt on the Perris Panthers with a sharp 18-5 win on Thursday. This was payback for the Golden Eagles, who suffered a 4-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

The victory got Desert Hot Springs back to even at 2-2. As for Perris, their defeat was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2.
