Softball Game Preview: Franklin Broncos vs. King's Fork Bulldogs

Franklin hasn't had much luck against King's Fork recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Franklin Broncos will be playing in front of their home fans against the King's Fork Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m.

Having struggled with eight defeats in a row dating back to last season, Franklin turned things around against Brunswick on Thursday. Neither they nor the Bulldogs could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 15-15 tie.

Meanwhile, King's Fork came up short against Deep Creek on Thursday, falling 14-1. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

King's Fork now has a losing record of 0-1-1. Franklin's draw makes their record 0-1-1 this season.

Franklin suffered a grim 21-13 defeat to King's Fork in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can Franklin avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
