Volleyball Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss

Columbia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lithonia Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.

Columbia's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Lithonia, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Columbia will head out to face off against Eastside at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lithonia, they will square off against Discovery at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
