Softball Game Preview: Concrete Lions vs. Darrington Loggers

Concrete is 2-8 against Darrington since April of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Lions will host the Loggers at 4:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

Concrete is headed into Tuesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Thursday. They lost 28-17 to Friday Harbor.

Meanwhile, Darrington had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Braves as they made off with a 16-6 victory. The result was nothing new for the Loggers, who have now won eight contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Darrington's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Concrete, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
