Stem Preparatory Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 49-37 to the Foundation Christian Academy Falcons. The The Chargers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.

Several The Chargers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Reggie McClain, who posted 11 points. Hamza Rawe was another key player, putting up eight points in addition to seven rebounds and five blocks.

Logan Nix was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 15 boards for Foundation Christian Academy. That's the most rebounds Nix has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Caden Ayres, who had ten points.

Stem Preparatory Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Foundation Christian Academy, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-4.

Stem Preparatory Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 79-24 defeat against Pearl-Cohn on the 28th. Foundation Christian Academy has also already played their next game, a 63-22 win against Clarksville Christian on the 24th.
