Softball Recap: Patterson Comes Up Short

Patterson fell victim to Oakdale and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Oakdale Mustangs. The defeat continues a trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost eight in a row.

Patterson saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jazmine Isom, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Patterson's loss dropped their record down to 6-6-2. As for Oakdale, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Patterson will take on Manteca at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Manteca will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Patterson surely won't give up without a fight. As for Oakdale, they will face off against Sierra at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Oakdale is facing Sierra at the right time seeing as Sierra is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
