Baseball Recap: Manor Comes Up Short

After flying high against Booker T. Washington last Friday, Manor came back down to earth. Manor lost 12-2 to the Lakeland Cavaliers on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Cavaliers: they've now lost three in a row.

Manor saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Henry Newburn, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Manor now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Lakeland, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Manor will head out to take on Churchland at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lakeland, they will face off against Tabb at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
