Softball Recap: Lynchburg-Clay Takes a Loss

Lynchburg-Clay fell victim to Westfall and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They fell just short of Westfall by a score of 2-0. The game marked the first time this year in which Lynchburg-Clay was not able to get on the board.

Lynchburg-Clay's loss dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Westfall, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Coming up, Lynchburg-Clay will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Manchester at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Mustangs 3.2, the Greyhounds 1.6) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Westfall, they will head out to challenge Southeastern at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
