Basketball Recap: Blake Zimmerman's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Ferris over Pullman + How To Watch

The Ferris Saxons were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 70-64 to the Pullman Greyhounds.

Ferris' loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Blake Zimmerman, who made all 5 shots he took to post 15 points. Another player making a difference was Sadrian Sartoe, who shot 63% from the field on his way to 12 points.

Leading Pullman to victory were Cade Rogers and Vaughn Holstad. Rogers went 10-for-17 en route to 24 points and three steals, while Holstad dropped a double-double with 23 points and 14 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Brown, who posted nine points.

Ferris now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Pullman, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Ferris wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 62-49 defeat against Central Valley on the 9th. As for Pullman, they will take on Moscow at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
