Softball Recap: Chaney Comes Up Short

If Chaney was feeling good fresh off their 20-0 takedown of Maple Heights last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Cowboys came up short against the Bristol Panthers on Tuesday, falling 13-1.

Chaney now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Bristol, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Chaney will venture away from home to take on Western Reserve at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bristol, they will host Windham at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be the Panthers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
