Volleyball Recap: Northwestern Comes Up Short

Northwestern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Cathedral Prep Ramblers. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Ramblers from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Northwestern took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-12, 25-15.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cathedral Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ellen Hutchinson, who had 11 digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Mackenzie Moore, who had 12 digs and one assist.

Northwestern's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Cathedral Prep, they now have a winning record of 5-4-1.

Northwestern has already played their next matchup (against Union City), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Cathedral Prep, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Corry on the 18th.
