Yazoo City lost to Canton back in March of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Yazoo City Indians escaped with a win against the Canton Tigers by the margin of a single free throw, 71-70. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

Yazoo City's victory was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-8.
