Austin's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Huntsville, their record now sits at an identical 4-2.

Austin didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 31-7 win against Bob Jones on the 10th. As for Huntsville, they have also already played their next game, a 34-0 victory against Albertville on the 10th.
