Episcopal waltzed into their game on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 71-63 victory over the Barbers Hill Eagles. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Episcopal has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Barbers Hill, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-5.

Episcopal will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Houston HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Barbers Hill, it'll be Battle of the Birds when the Barbers Hill Eagles take on the Tompkins Falcons at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Barbers Hill knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 19 contests -- so hopefully Tompkins likes a good challenge.
