Volleyball Recap: Pace Takes a Loss

Pace's tournament run continued when they took on UMS-Wright Prep on Saturday. The Patriots fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 2-1.

Marley Manning paced Pace's offense, picking up 11 kills. Manning got some help from Liv Riffell and her 18 assists. Manning was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Pace has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for UMS-Wright Prep, their win bumped their record up to 5-1.

Pace didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Elberta on the 2nd. As for UMS-Wright Prep, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Booker T. Washington on the 30th.
