Baseball Recap: Kennedy Comes Up Short

Kennedy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Vallejo Redhawks, falling 14-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 13-5 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Kennedy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Henry Pienta, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Kennedy's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Vallejo, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Vallejo beat Kennedy by a score of 12-2 on Friday.
