Basketball Recap: Pineville Comes Up Short

After flying high against Barbourville last Monday, Pineville came back down to earth. The Pineville Mountain Lions took a 59-40 bruising from the Knox Central Panthers on Thursday. The Mountain Lions haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Pineville's defeat dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Knox Central, the victory was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 24-4.

As of now, neither Pineville nor Knox Central have any future games scheduled.
