Baseball Recap: North Delta Gets the Win

North Delta came out on top against Lee Academy on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive ten-run fifth inning. The Green Wave took their contest against the Colts 12-8. The Green Wave haven't had any issues with the Colts recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

North Delta got a massive performance out of Hayden Riva, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. The Green Wave are 7-1 when Riva posts two or more runs, but 4-5 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Karson Ware, who went 2-for-5 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base.

North Delta's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Lee Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

North Delta will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Colts: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
