Volleyball Recap: Episcopal Comes Up Short

After flying high against Fort Bend Christian Academy last Friday, Episcopal came back down to earth. The Knights fell just short of the Stratford Spartans by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Spartans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2016.

Episcopal has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9-1 record this season. As for Stratford, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-11 record.

Episcopal didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Clear Lake on the 4th. As for Stratford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Mayde Creek on the 4th.
