Basketball Recap: Lawson Falls Short of Mid-Buchanan in the Playoffs

Lawson and Mid-Buchanan squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Lawson had to settle for second. They took a 51-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mid-Buchanan Dragons. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dragons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Lawson has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-7 record this season. The win (which was Mid-Buchanan's 14th in a row) raised their record to 23-3.

As of now, neither Lawson nor Mid-Buchanan have any future games scheduled.
