The Gem State Adventist Academy Jaguars will host the Liberty Charter Patriots at 7:30 p.m. Gem State Adventist Academy will be strutting in after a win while Liberty Charter will be coming in after a loss.

Gem State Adventist Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They managed a 61-57 victory over Idaho City on Thursday.

Gem State Adventist Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tyler Grimaldo led the charge by putting up 15 points. That's the most points Grimaldo has posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Levi Smith, who posted ten points.

Meanwhile, Liberty Charter came up short against Valley on Saturday and fell 57-50. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 104th, while the Vikings are ranked 14th).

Liberty Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Gem State Adventist Academy, their win bumped their record up to 2-9.

Gem State Adventist Academy was taken down by Liberty Charter 69-26 in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Gem State Adventist Academy was down 49-7.
