Volleyball Recap: Rancho Comes Up Short

Rancho lost against Bishop Gorman back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Rancho came up short against Bishop Gorman, falling 3-0. The Rams' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20, 25-15.

Miles Boquiren was a one-man wrecking crew For Bishop Gorman. as he had 31 assists and eight digs. Those 31 assists gave Boquiren a new career-high.

Rancho's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Bishop Gorman, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-8.

Coming up, Rancho will square off against Green Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bishop Gorman, they will challenge Somerset Sky Pointe at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Somerset Sky Pointe will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Bishop Gorman surely won't give up without a fight.
