Basketball Game Preview: Gilman City Hawks vs. Northeast Nodaway Blue Jays

Last Friday, Gilman City came up short against Albany and fell 45-35. The Hawks haven't had much luck with the Warriors recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Meanwhile, Northeast Nodaway entered their tilt with Stanberry on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Everything went their way against the Bulldogs as they made off with a 56-36 win. The Blue Jays' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Northeast Nodaway now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Gilman City, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Gilman City didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Northeast Nodaway when the teams last played back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 37-33 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Gilman City since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
