Basketball Game Preview: North Valleys Panthers vs. Bishop Manogue Miners

North Valleys has won 13 straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Bishop Manogue has won 13 straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Monday. The North Valleys Panthers will face off against the Bishop Manogue Miners at 6:00 p.m. North Valleys knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Bishop Manogue likes a good challenge.

North Valleys is headed into the match after thoroughly thrashing South Tahoe: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that North Valleys blew South Tahoe out of the water with a 67-36 final score. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Bishop Manogue beat Carson 54-44 on Friday.

North Valleys has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.9 points per game. As for Bishop Manogue, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

North Valleys took a serious blow against Bishop Manogue in their previous matchup back in December of 2017, falling 66-12.
